Pupil Achievements
What have been our successes this year?
The children have shown excellent academic achievement with fantastic SAT results in KS2. The school was 7th nationally for value added and top in Warwickshire for value added.
The school has successfully introduced PPA time for all teachers. This is a very positive change, providing all teachers with 10% non contact time for marking, planning, assessing etc...
The school has joined a "Network Group" with five other schools from around the County. Funding has been secured for this and it is hoped to focus on Y2 more able pupils.
The school has been asked to take part in a pilot project entitled "Sustaining success", involving 500 high performing schools across the country.
The school is now part of the University of the First Age. This will introduce staff and pupils to various methods of teaching and investigate how each individual child learns, thus allowing teaching methods to be adopted to suit individual learning needs.
The school is working towards achieving Dyslexia Friendly Status.
